How to Make Your Attic a Livable Place: 10 Amazing Tips

5. Find the best match for window covering

If you are utilizing the space for something else, you can decide to leave the windows naked because they are particularly difficult to cover when they are located on a sloped wall. However, you should cover those windows if you’re going to be using the room as a bedroom.

First of all, measure your windows to know exactly what covers are suitable for them. Shutters are the best option for attic windows because they can line the angles pretty well. Synthetic fabrics are good to insulate the windows, and if you choose a dark color, they can also block the sun during the day if you’re planning on taking a nap.
