2. Black-Eyed Susan

This is another flowering plant that can fit properly for a person who doesn’t have so much time for this process of growing and taking care of plants. The Black-Eyed Susan is a very beautiful flower that somehow looks like a sunflower in miniature. Its colors are very vivid and can draw attention from afar.

This flower is a popular choice among gardeners because it requires minimal care and attention. It is a great choice for people who are not so professional when it comes to gardening and for people busy with their work or any other activity.

Black-Eyes Susan is a plant that originates from North America and has grown to love the sun but can also survive with minimum conditions. The soil is not that important for this flower, as it can thrive in different types of soil, such as clay, sandy, or loamy.

Another plus when it comes to Black-Eyed Susan is that it does not require a lot of water; it can survive and thrive in an area that is not so rainy and also in a house with someone who forgets to water it that often or does not have the time.

If you are thinking about growing Black-Eyed Susan in your garden, here’s another bonus you should be aware of: it attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies to your garden, which will make your garden more alive.

This flower produces nectar, which is why it attracts pollinators. Also, because its color is so bright, it works as a signal for them. If you will eventually have these flowers in your garden, think about your contribution to reproducing many plants, including vegetables and fruits. After all, this is the job of a pollinator, and by eating the nectar from your flowering plants, you are contributing to this process.

Even though Black-Eyed Susan is part of the “set it and forget it” team, you should not totally neglect it. Yes, if you plant it in the garden and you know rain can water it from time to time, then you should not worry about watering it, but if you plant it inside the house, then you should at least water it once every one and a half weeks.

Do not get cold feet; this is still a great choice if you want to have flowers but also do not want to spend a lot of time taking care of them. So whether you are a seasoned gardener or just a beginner, this is definitely a flowering plant to consider for your garden.
