The 10 Worst Invasive Plants You Should Avoid

10. Burning Bush

Here’s one that turns heads with its eye-catching appearance. In autumn, the burning bush (Euonymus alatus) turns into a charming plant, having red or pinkish-red leaves. It also bears colorful, reddish-orange berries that accompany the striking foliage.

So far, so good, right? Now, you may be wondering why the burning bush is one of the most detested exotic plants among gardeners with experience. Well, this shrub is actually dangerously invasive in pretty much all northern US states as well as in the Southeast.
