Outdated Home Trend: Everything White And Gray

We wouldn’t have guessed, but it seems as though white kitchens are on their way out in favor of those bright, bold, and colorful kitchens.

According to design experts, when asked about the most on-trend hues for the coming year, white obtained the most dramatic drop in popularity, and light gray generally received the fewest votes.

Home decorators say that the decline in popularity for white and gray reflects the public’s ongoing desire to redo their homes, in which we’ve all come to spend more time in. It seems that more and more people want their space to feel more special and layered.

Patterns and colors, especially those that evoke nature, are visually attractive and also feel emotionally promising.
