Thuja Green Giant

This outdoor plant is our favorite and the perfect option for those who want a green garden without flowers! Thuja green giants are evergreen trees with unique leaves that make for some of the best privacy outdoor plants.

These shrubs are gaining popularity as perimeter plants because they are low-maintenance shrubs. They can cover spacious backyards and they mature close together, forming a screen fence to conceal anything inside your backyard.

Besides its top-notch performance in providing privacy, they are disease resistant and are adaptable to any soil or weather conditions. Green giants also require very little water, making them a hassle-free option.

They can quickly give secrecy to your yard without asking for frequent watering. Pruning isn’t an issue either. Just plant them about six feet apart, and they’ll grant you a concealed backyard.

As a lifetime gardener with an acre of gardens, I still do have one neighbor who is nasty. He’s upwind, and sends me weed seeds from his riverbank he rarely tends to. Screens would be nice to keep out the seeds, if they could.
You do not list zones. You do not always list normal heights. You do not always list sun/pt shade/shade. That pic of ‘jack frost privet’ shows not white margins. Bamboo is not invasive? HA!! Seen it before, especially in warmer zones. I realize you had only so much room, but straightforward listing of the important stuff is so much more helpful than amusing literature.

    Thanks!!

Privet is dangerous to horses. Bamboo is extremely invasive. What about fig trees or magnolias?
