5. A rug is always a good idea

So you want to find the easiest way to change your flooring, right? You have an old floor, and you are sick of it. You want something new, but you can’t put in the work, and you also don’t want to spend a fortune.

This is not really changing your floor per se, but it is a good solution if you want to hide a worn-out floor. Buy an area rug. They are large rugs that are meant to cover the flooring. They can make your space feel cozier, and they can also add some color.

Try placing a big area rug in the living room, and if you want to use rugs in the kitchen or bedroom, you can try placing smaller rugs in strategic places. This will definitely hide all of those imperfections that you no longer want to see.

Large rugs may be secured with the aid of furniture, while tiny rugs can be kept in place by placing rug pads or double-sided tape under them.
