8. Change The Furnace Filter

You should check your furnace filter once a month to see if there’s any dirt and bacteria there and change them every three months. This way you’ll improve your furnace performance, as well as air quality.

By replacing your old filter with a new one you’ll significantly reduce the number of airborne dust particles in your home. And if you have some health issues related to breathing or if you have any allergies, it’s better to invest in a more advanced filter.

The whole replacement process will be a piece of cake, because the only thing you have to do is to swap the old one for the new one, and that’s it.
