6. Zebra plant

“Haworthia fasciata” or as everybody knows it, “zebra plant” is a delicate and gorgeous succulent that’s mostly adopted by plant beginners. Why? Well, for instance, it’s easy to take care of, it fits in every house because it won’t grow more than 8 inches tall and it doesn’t need too much water.

So if you’re planning to leave town for a couple of weeks and you don’t have anybody to ask to come over and water your plants, don’t worry! Zebra plants can do very well on their own if the soil is moist enough. The only downside of this plant is that it doesn’t like cold, so make sure you keep it near windows to get the sunlight it needs, and during winter, in a warm place but not near the heater!
