Turn on the tunes
To supercharge your cleaning grinds, why not play some music to get energized? A survey found that 80% of Americans listen to music while they clean, and 52% of those people have special playlists for cleaning or say that music is essential to their cleaning routine.
Scientific research also shows that music has positively affected physical activity by reducing perceived exertion and enhancing physical performance. You can find an upbeat cleaning playlist on YouTube or Spotify or even make your own.
Some good examples of this quick home cleaning tip include Another One Bites the Dust by Queen and Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. We’re also big fans of Queen, opting for Bohemian Rhapsody when we scrub.
