7. Don’t worry about shrunken sweaters! Use conditioner
You were in a hurry and forgot the number one rule: do not tumble-dry your sweater, which resulted in a disaster because it ripped and shrank. If this occurs, all you need to do is combine cool water and hair conditioner and soak the shrunken sweater. Leave it for at least 30 minutes to soak.
By relaxing the wool fibers with the hair conditioner, you may gently tug the sweater back into shape.
8. Sprinkle salt on the stains
Salt is one inexpensive and widely available ingredient that every home must have, along with vinegar and baking soda. Although it’s a myth that salt can make colors brighter or stop them from fading, table salt can nevertheless remove some stubborn stains.
Since table salt is a mild abrasive, it can aid in getting rid of stains in your laundry like red wine, rust, and blood. It only takes a small amount of salt to directly absorb the moisture from the stain. Once that happens, brush it off and wash your clothes as necessary.
If the stain is pretty stubborn or it’s not fresh, make a mixture out of salt and water (preferably warm) and rub it gently. Don’t forget that immediately after you do this, wash the garment accordingly to avoid any white stains that salt may leave.
