#3 Sticking to pre-bought stuff

There’s nothing wrong with getting decorations from the store. After all, not all of us can spend a lot of time making our own decorations. Yet, if you only rely on those and don’t try to make them at least a little bit your own, it can end up looking a bit sad.

What we mean by that is using things around your home to make the decorations seem more personalized. You can add some necklaces or aprons to some of the figurines. Or you can combine some of them to make them your own! Adding some tinsel to shadowboxes is easy, and you’ve already added a bit more personal touch to something already made!
