6. Firebush
This is a perennial shrub that grows incredibly fast and blooms all year round in the warm climate of Florida. Its bright red flowers are filled with a sweet nectar that attracts various creatures, including hummingbirds and a few species of butterflies.
The height of this plant depends on the location where it grows. If you plant it in South Florida, it can reach up to 15 feet tall. Now, don’t worry because you can keep it around 5 to 8 feet tall without much effort. If you decide to grow this bush in Northern Florida, you should be aware that it will die when the weather gets cold, but it will regrow as soon as spring arrives. Because of this, it will never reach great heights.
The Firebush looks incredible, and it is one of the best choices you can make if you live in the southern parts of the state since it can easily tolerate hot weather.
