4. Allergy Symptoms
Allergy symptoms are another indicator of a cockroach infestation. They come in the form of sneezes, nausea, coughing, and breathlessness. Not only can cockroaches come into contact with your food, contaminating it, but they can also harm you by their very presence. These pests produce allergens that can cause serious respiratory problems like asthma.
For instance, the allergens found in their droppings and the outer parts of their bodies contain a high concentration of allergens. Contact with the insects or even their droppings will expose you to risk and probably cause severe health issues.
If you’re experiencing allergy symptoms but have never been allergic, it’s worth inspecting your home for signs of pests. If you find any traces or even spot a cockroach, make sure you wear gloves and a face mask when cleaning your house. Even after doing this, we still recommend you hire a pest control team to make sure you get rid of insects for good.
