6. Hosta
The sixth plant on our list is Hosta, which is one of the most popular items in Americans’ gardens. You can easily recognize this plant by its huge green leaves with plenty of textures and patterns.
If you’re looking for something that is more classic and put together, the Minuteman variety might be a good option for you. It has green leaves and beautiful borders that are thick and white. It’s elegant and classy, and it can easily add a subtle touch of color to any grey area.
However, if you want something that is a bit more colorful, you should choose the Fire Island variety, due to its gorgeous yellow leaves. It will give you a pop of color and a piece of sun all year round. The shade of the leaves changes along with the seasons, and the sunlight influences the color that you see.
…What do you think about Hostas? Do you like them?

Thanks … however so many are candy for the deer herd that visits my garden! So far, they haven’t consumed the nine bark. The rest are down to nubbins. Any other suggestions???
Which of these plants, if any, are deer resistent?
