Sweet Pepperbush
Sweet pepperbush is commonly known as summersweet, and it grows only in wet woodlands and marshes, but also along streams and seashores. It can reach around 3 to 8 feet tall, with a 6-foot spread. And during summertime, you will start noticing long and fragrant flower spikes that will attract beautiful butterflies and bees.
Try to maintain the soil around your shrub as consistently moist as possible, especially during watering and rainfall. Also, if you want to prune it, do it in the late winter. When it comes to the sun, the plant will feel just fine in full sun, with partial shade.
