Not only are bird droppings acidic and can cause physical damage to your home, but they are also the source of other problems, such as diseases. The droppings can be a source of various germs that, if left to fester, can end up attacking you or your pets, especially if they make their nest in your chimney or vent.

Furthermore, as if diseases weren’t bad enough, birds are no strangers to parasites such as mites, fleas, and even ticks. If they nest inside your home, they can end up spreading these around your house and giving them to your pets as well, leading to a whole home infestation!
