Add some colorful chairs

One of the best rental upgrades that can easily improve the feeling of your house is to buy some colorful chairs. A splash of color is never a piece of bad advice!

If there is enough room, increase the seating by two or three cushy, vibrantly colored chairs that will accommodate everyone while maintaining the room’s current configuration.

If large ones aren’t your style, check for some folding chairs, like the ones you use for the beach. Your mental health could also be enhanced by maintaining a summer atmosphere in your home. Who wouldn’t want to feel as though they were on vacation all the time? I do!

Camouflage your TV

If you’re a renter on a tight budget, think about installing wallpaper that peels away on the wall behind the TV to make it disappear when the room is dark, or construct a gallery wall around it to hide it from view.
