#4 The Style-Forward Storage Options

There has been a shift in attitudes towards storage spaces in the last few years, and while we have gotten used to certain things, they are also about to change again. It all has its origins in the way minimalist organization and style have taken over the interior design world.

Not only were things supposed to be as minimalist as possible, but storage solutions were only seen as functional items: nothing too fancy, just practical, and definitely in line with the minimalist trend. Storage items and solutions were just there to serve that one purpose, not disrupt the flow of the room, and to be about that in the long run.
