4. Take care of the bushes and the trees

Trees and bushes, in general, are beneficial for your yard and also add some extra points to the aesthetics. It is always a good idea to plant some trees in your garden. They make the air cleaner, provide shade in the hot summers, and protect your yard and home from the harsh winds in the winter.

The beginning of spring is the best time to begin trimming the bushes and trees that you have in your garden. Since they are still bare, it will be easier for you to prune them.

To do so, you need to remove any branches that look dead or unhealthy. If any of the remaining branches hover over the pathways or are blocking the sunlight for other plants, you should trim them.

After you do this, your yard will look great, and your shrubs and trees will be ready to grow for the rest of the spring and later in the summer.
