Treat future nesting areas

You could treat potential nesting locations too, not just spray already-existing nests. Just buy the residual liquid pesticides from your local home improvement store or even your hardware store, then spray them in areas where you think wasps would want to nest.

Some of these areas could be your deck, pool, patio, and even your wood fence. This would prevent nest building in the future, too.

Call a professional pest control company.

If the methods we enlisted above aren’t enough, then you might have to call a professional pest control company. They might be able to provide a better and more effective solution to your waste problem.

The pest control technicians might also be able to identify the species of wasps you have in your yard, understand what’s the best course of action, and provide you with a tailored solution to get rid of pests for good.

This is specifically important if you have large outdoor wasp colonies that are simply too dangerous to handle by yourself.
