2. Miniature Roses

Another plant that shouldn’t be kept indoors is miniature roses. They often need to be transplanted outdoors in less than two weeks, even if they are sold in pots. This demanding “house plant” would need a small army of equipment to mimic outside growing conditions, including a grow light to offer 5+ hours of direct sunlight each day, a humidifier to keep the air moist, a micro-fan to provide proper air circulation, and a humidifier to keep the roots dry enough to prevent rot.

3. Oleander

One of the first examples of eye-catching plants that comes to mind is the oleander. Its tiny pink flowers are amazing to incorporate into any space because they will give it a lively vibe. But the downside of having this plant indoors is that it is very poisonous. According to various studies, as a result of the shrub’s extreme toxicity, you or your pets could die from even one leaf.

In the past, utilizing the shrub’s twigs as skewers has even caused the deaths of many people who were unaware of how dangerous this plant is.
