Edging plant

Lemongrass can also be helpful as an edging or border for growing areas in warmer climate zones. It can also be used as a divider to stop more invasive, spreading plants, like sweet potatoes, from running out of bounds.

Its growing habit can prevent certain plants from taking over other garden areas or spreading out onto footpaths. It can also be used as a barrier to prevent weeds from growing in a specific area.
