4. Leaving the towels wet after you use them

Did you know that one of the worst cleaning habits that do more harm than good is leaving your shower curtains and towels bunched up? Why? Let’s see.  The stench of mildew and pests, such as ants, are both caused by moist towels left on the floor of your bathroom, so if you know that you do that, try to avoid it from now on.

This is undoubtedly one of the worst habits you should break if you want to continue keeping your home tidy. If you can, hang your damp towels outside to dry in the breeze. The shower curtains should be closed after each use, and they should be cleaned with a dry cloth.
