Don’t ignore your washing machine’s manual

So many people are using the same wash program for all their clothes, no matter the material and color, which is wrong for many reasons. But there’s a manual for every washing machine and it’s actually great to read it, as it will recommend all kinds of specific programs, depending on the washed fabrics and how dirty they are.

A pile of stinky rugby kits, for example, should be washed for a longer time, and at higher temperatures than work clothes, which aren’t visibly dirty in some cases.

Try to open up that manual before going to bed or when you have a couple of minutes to spare. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
