High humidity levels can cause plenty of problems, but so do can lower humidity. If you find that the air in your bedroom is too dry, you may want to change something so you can help yourself sleep better. Sure, a humidifier may quickly solve the issue, but what about a natural solution?

Peace lilies can increase the humidity by up to 5%, improving your breathing. But that’s not all. An optimal level of humidity is also known to decrease dry skin and hair, as well as the susceptibility to colds.

This low-maintenance plant doesn’t require much light or watering, so you can keep it next to your bed without worrying too much about it. Beware, however, if you have kids or pets in your home! The peace lily is toxic when ingested.
