10. Xerographica

As one of the most unusual air plants, Xerographica has a ghostly look with silvery, light green leaves that grow from a rosette that curls back into itself. It’s a very slow grower, but it can reach up to 3 feet in width.

This unusual plant is also incredibly tough, needing only bright, filtered light. Display it perched on a piece of driftwood or on a shelf in a glass bowl. In naturally humid houses, the Xerographica plant needs only an occasional misting.

Or you can submerge the whole plant in plain water once a week; shake it off to eliminate the excess water, then place it upside down to let the water drip out from the central rosette.
