4. Cosmos

Do you have poor soil in your garden? No problem, because these low-maintenance plants are trained to deal with something like that. Cosmos like being in the sun, but in hot climates, they prefer some much-deserved afternoon shade. What’s also great about them is that they can also flourish in drought and general neglect periods, so that’s always good to know, especially if you’re a busy person.

Pests aren’t that attracted to these flowers, so they won’t bother you, which means that your Cosmos will look top-notch all summer long. You can get them in plenty of colors, and they’ll easily turn your garden into a dreamy paradise.

Cosmos are perennial or annual, low-maintenance plants that are very popular for their daisy-like flowers. They’re native to Central America, Mexico, and South America, and I’m pretty sure that they’ll look stunning in your garden too!
