#7 Turn your iron pot into an iron

No iron at the place you have rented? Or perhaps yours has suddenly stopped working, and you’re in a hurry to smooth out some creases in your clothes? The best way is to check your cabinets! Find a metal iron pot, make sure its bottom is clean, and put it on the stove to boil water. Once the water has definitely reached a rolling boil, you can stop the heat and toss the water (or use it to make some tea).

Check the bottom again for any dirt, and then you can use the pot as an iron to smooth out any wrinkles. Just be careful. It’s going to be really hot, and you can accidentally burn yourself.
