Expanded social interactions

As we previously mentioned, gardening is a hobby that can be enjoyed on your own but also with a group. For those who are just starting out, joining a community garden or group might be a perfect way to go. This way, you can learn through other people’s experiences.

And this is all while interacting socially. You could even host gardening lessons at home if you might be more advanced in your gardening ability.

Even if you don’t want to be strictly involved in a club, you can always partake in passing interactions with neighbors or those walking by as you take care of your front garden and want to strike up a conversation.

More than just providing healthy food, this allows people to meet new individuals and learn more about green-thumbed subjects. Plus, you also get to enjoy the satisfaction of growing something from scratch!

Not only will you enjoy your lush veggie patch or blooming flowerbeds, but because of your newfound gardening skills, there could even be volunteer possibilities in your local community as well.
