Bleach Alternative

If you are trying to make green choices when it comes to cleaning, then you should make sure that you do not use bleach. While it is a very effective cleaning chemical, bleach has a lot of drawbacks, including the fact that it is damaging to wildlife and water sources; it is highly toxic; and it can also end up damaging your surfaces if you use too much of it. What’s worse, when combined with ammonia, it produces a highly toxic gas that has the possibility of being fatal for those who breathe it in, and not all cleaning products make sure to avoid ammonia.

To avoid all the complications that come along with bleach, you can easily make your own alternative that is just as effective as a cleaner, but it will not potentially poison the whole household if it is not properly stored or used. It is not likely that you will do something like that, but accidents do happen, and sometimes it is better to avoid creating situations like that.
