5. Taxidermy items

If you want to give a wild look to your home but also impress your friends, go for taxidermy. Taxidermy may not be for everyone, but this is one of those natural elements that can draw attention to your house and serve as a great talking point for visitors. Additionally, the proper items will give your décor a touch of rustic sophistication and charm.

If you do decide to use taxidermy to decorate your room, be sure to get it from an ethical online retailer like Etsy. There are a lot of scammers on the internet who want to sell their stuff even if they don’t have legal permission to take the lives of those animals.

Additionally, if you feel crafty, use your DIY abilities to create your own imitation taxidermy using ceramics, fabrics, or paper. When exhibiting your items, stay away from areas with high humidity, such as the bathroom, since moisture can harm the taxidermy. Install a little piece of cow skull behind a glass dome to reduce dusting, or mount a large piece firmly over your head for a statement effect.
