7 Most Common Plant Diseases (and Easy Cures to Try)

1. Grass rust

That rusty, yellow, or orange color that appears on the lawn, usually towards the end of summer due to warm and dry weather, is actually grass rust. This is often caused by a common fungus, but if left untreated, it can destroy the entire lawn, which would be quite unpleasant.

The simplest solution is regular irrigation of the lawn as water helps reduce airborne spores and prevents the spread of the disease. Another option is regular mowing of the lawn.

Mowing the lawn can be a more labor-intensive solution as it requires time and patience, but there are auto mowers that can be operated via Bluetooth. What you need to remember is that the lawn should be watered in the morning, the grass should be mowed during the day, and, of course, dead leaves on the lawn should be removed.
