Bathroom makeover

Hotel bathrooms have these great marble walls, double basins, or even frameless showers and spa baths that make you feel as if that’s your apartment in heaven. If you want to give your bathroom a makeover, you might want to get some hotel inspiration.

Just think about some of the best hotels you’ve ever stayed at and try to replicate those features through proper design planning. Think about floor-to-ceiling tiles, heated towel racks, plenty of storage, beautiful lighting, wall niches, and, of course, a great bath.

Detail the ceiling

Another common feature in all luxurious hotels is the detailed ceilings. You can take some inspiration from hotels to create your own element of luxury for your space. For instance, recessed ceilings and bulkheads are a great way to do that.

As I mentioned before, you can also get super creative with your lighting. Or stamped and beamed ceilings might add a bit of character and that great sense of elegance.
