Herb Garden

You probably did not expect us to suggest this one as the first feature, but you should also keep in mind that these are in no particular order and that they will all be beneficial to your landscape no matter which one you choose.

Still, we admit that it is a more unorthodox recommendation; however, there are many landscape professionals who have been advocating for such a space in people’s gardens for years. And the best thing about them is that you can customize them to your liking, and depending on what types of plants you include in your herb garden, you could also naturally repel pests and bugs.

Be it that you choose to have an entire area that is dedicated to growing herbs that you will then use around your home or that you devise a plan that includes a couple of pots with plants, you should make space for the herb garden in your plan. They are also pretty easy to tend to, so you will not have the garden take a lot of your time, and you can always add some citrus trees around that are both going to tie in the design but also continue to be low maintenance!
