10 Plants That Are Perfect for Wet Areas

Black Chokeberry 

Black chokeberry is a kind of bush that’s known to shed its leaves every year. It grows around 3 to 6 feet in height but also spread. During spring, it blooms showy white flowers that hide away black little berries that will attract birds. Its foliage has a reddish-purple hue during fall.

The plant is native to bogs, and damp thickets but also to swamps. It can easily adapt to all kinds of soil, as long as you keep it moist. What’s even more important, make sure to remove root suckers so you can prevent unwanted spreading. When it comes to light, it likes living in full sun and partial shade.
