Cleaning supplies

I know it might seem super convenient to keep cleaning supplies in your kitchen, but in reality, it would be much better to keep them in an adjacent room or a safer space. Little hands and furry friends could easily get into cabinets, especially those that you use with other cleaning products and under the kitchen sink.

Natural cleaners like vinegar and baking soda are safe, but anything else that goes into the chemical ingredients category should definitely be stored elsewhere.

Scented products

Here’s a cool tip: Wherever you store your cleaning supplies, that’s also where you keep your scented products, such as scented trash bags and fresheners. Here’s why: trash bags and air fresheners aren’t made of food-grade plastic, and there are high chances that the chemicals used to make a certain scent can be easily absorbed and contaminate other edible products.

Anything that’s not edible shouldn’t go into your cabinet.
