#5 Flaming

Continuing the trend of using heat to get rid of weeds, you can also use the method of flaming. It has been used for ages on big fields to get rid of any remnants of the harvest to prepare the soil for a new bath, so who says you cannot use it as well in your garden? You will need to invest in a propane torch, which is not over $50. However, if you plan to use this method, you should be extremely careful about how you use it.

You need to wait for a wind-free day and only apply to certain areas, making sure you do not accidentally set fire to the rest of your lawn or garden. It works best for trying to get rid of weeds in between the concrete cracks.

Also, never ever try to use flaming to spot weed in a dry region, especially if it is known to be fire-prone. You may inadvertently cause a tragedy.
