Snake Plant
The Snake Plant, or Sansevieria, is definitely the superstar, as it’s one of the prettiest, easy to take care of plants, and has one of the greatest impacts on allergies and air quality.
It’s super easy to grow, and it’s my personal favorite. You can easily neglect it for weeks, in fact, it’s recommended to do so. The only way through which you can kill this plant is to water it too often.
The Plant is also known as the Mother-in-Law’s Tongue, and it has been known to convert carbon dioxide to oxygen during nighttime. In fact, if your allergies are acting up while you’re sleeping at night, try to place a Snake Plant next to your bed and see how it goes.
Thank you for information on plants I might be able to try and grow in my house. It’s always a challange to find plants because my house faces North and South so most all of my windows also face that way and we don’t get a lot of direct sunlight. Plus I have trees al around my house , which is beneficial in some ways but not so much in others.
