7. Eucalyptus

Another plant with a wonderful minty scent that humans find highly alluring but spiders find repulsive. Eucalyptus only grows 6–10 feet tall when cultivated inside as a houseplant. However, if you choose to cultivate this plant indoors, you should exercise extreme caution because it is poisonous to both people and animals, especially if consumed! It doesn’t need a particular soil and takes very little upkeep. Only water it once the soil feels dry.

8. Floss Flower

Mosquitoes absolutely hate this plant as well! Why? Because floss blossoms have a toxin that makes them go away, apparently it has such a strong scent that mosquitoes are sensitive to it. However, don’t be tempted to touch it with your bare hands because it’s poisonous for both humans and animals. Therefore, it will still be efficient if you plant it a bit further from your home.
