Cockroach Infestation? 8 Signs You Have One (and What To Do)

2. Cockroach Egg Casings

Since these disgusting insects have short lifespans, they breed very quickly. When you start noticing their egg casings in your home, you should do something immediately to stop them from spreading.

You should check in places like under couches, under the bed, and in spaces between the books since the cockroaches tend to hide there. Knowing how their egg casings look will help you know whether or not your house is infested with these roaches. The egg casings are long and also have oval shapes. These casings have a brown color and can hold many insect eggs at a time.

The best thing you can do is call local exterminators, as they use more effective insecticides than those you can find on store shelves. In fact, the cockroach egg case is made of a hard material that may be able to stand up against commercial chemicals.
