Stop the squeaks

You can easily use a bar of soap if you have some floorboards or door hinges that have been giving you headaches with how squeaky they have become.

All you need to do is rub a dry bar of soap you have around the home on the edge of the parts that are squeaky or in the groves where you know the floorboards are making the sound.

It should stop the sound from forming, but if it persists even after you have done it, reapply if needed.

Likewise, over time, the soap residue will wear off, and you should reapply.
