2. Snake Plant

If you have trouble falling or staying asleep, you may want to look after your indoor air quality. The air you breathe inside your house is a key factor that may be affecting your ability to fall or stay asleep.

We spend many hours breathing moisture into our bedrooms, and this can raise the humidity in the room, especially if you keep the door shut, which decreases air circulation around your home.

High humidity levels increase the likelihood of dust mites and mold, which can have a negative impact on how you breathe, leaving you with a poor night’s sleep. Snake plant is a great low-maintenance plant that releases oxygen into your bedroom, improving the quality of your air.

But that’s not all! Its large leaves are also excellent at cleaning the indoor air of harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, toluene, benzene, xylene, and trichloroethylene.
