8 Plants You Don’t Need to Water to Thrive

2. Sage

One of the most miraculous plants that exist on Earth is sage. With a potent aromatic flavor, sage is very easy to take care of. For instance, if you decide to buy sage in a pot, make sure the pot is made of ceramic. Because it’s not necessary to water it daily, just as with succulents, check the soil before watering again, especially during the warm season. Otherwise, you can kill the plant in the blink of an eye.

3. Begonias

If you’re looking for a less thirsty plant that’s also super easy to grow in your house, you will be happy to know that begonia is one of them. This lively-colored plant, which blooms mostly during the spring, requires a low watering routine, especially during the winter when it doesn’t bloom at all. There is one thing they hate the most: having their roots floating in too much water.

However, in case you don’t know exactly how to take care of a begonia properly, let me tell you my hack: wait until the leaves bend a bit before watering again. It works every time because it’s their way of saying: “Hey miss, I am a tad thirsty. Pour me a glass of water!”
