Lawn Care Tip: Mow to the Right Length

Many people don’t realize this, but they trim their grass to be shorter than two or three inches in length, and this ends up costing them more in maintenance fees.

This is because slightly longer grass permits plants to shade their soil and roots, which helps in moisture retention and reduces the need for watering.

Here’s another fantastic lawn care tip: When mowing your lawn, a good rule of thumb is never to snip off more than a third of the blade. This will result in a more lush and healthier lawn and reduce the need for fertilizer, watering, and reseeding.

It would also help if you kept the mower blades sharp. This produces a cleaner cut and allows you to use less gas in your mower.
